Having just finished reading this tale, I must say that I was impressed. Ms. Rogers has written a captivating story, which left me wanting more. It reads very easily, and manages to bring her world alive for the reader to imagine. Although there are those who will argue about facts, she has created a new Merlin. This Merlin is self-centered, and sometimes cruel. His daughters must come to terms with their own legacies and Seranade must face the aspect of her own personality that mirrors his. All in all, a very good story.Product details

this book was very vivid. colors people places. it really gave aq new look to what "happened" with merlin. i am excited about a sequel. the only thing i had a problem with was such graphic love scenes. overall a good book.
This book was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad they did. Although there are some obvious grammatical and spelling errors, they do nothing to detract from the excitement and originality of the story. The characters are very well developed, and it was compelling from one chapter to the next.
Although her book is loosley based on Merlin lore, Ms. Rodgers has added to Merlin's legacy with the addition of two daughters one born of a goddess and the second born of a mortal woman. Ms. Rodgers is a great storyteller, I could not put this one down! The book ended with a cliffhanger. I hope that Ms. Rodgers continues this series and if so that the next book comes out soon--I can't wait to read it!
Overall the story was a good one. That said, I wont be buying the next book. The typos, misspellings and disregard to punctuation rules made it hard to read. Missing periods and commas etc made reading less. than. Enjoyable. (See what I did there?) I paid three bucks for this book and don't think it was worth the money.
I love the old world books. A little taste of the past with magic as a special seasoning. Can't wait for the next one.
Great novel, I didn't want to put it down! !!
Although the storyline is good and moves quickly, there appears to be absolutely no editing at all! This is not only irritatingly distracting, but so poor that often entire groups of sentences loose their meaning. It is almost as if it is a first draft.
I would not want my grandsons to read it for the reason that it often makes no sense due to editing, and I want them to learn what good literature is.
I hope if a second book is out the author changed publishers.
I totally loved this book! Loved the way it keeps your interest and curiosity going to the end, THEN it is over no other book to follow!!!!!???? When will the next book be out, I have been waiting for about 6mo and have no idea whats next for this Daughters of Merlin. Cant wait !! Please release the next book!!!!!!
